Workout update
Why isn't this working???! I have been working out for weeks. Yes, weeks. And I haven't lost a pound. My clothes have started to fit better, but that stupid number on the scale is still the same.
I don't want to be a part of any fad diet that I know will crash and burn. And I am to the point where I just want the fat to magically go away. But I know it won't. So I decided to start running three mornings a week combined with my P90X in the evening.
I could understand if I gained some crazy amount of weight, but I gained 25 with my first child and 10 pounds with my second! I was able to get down to my pre-pregnancy weight before I got pregnant with my second child. I guess, technically speaking, I am down to my pre-pregnancy weight now, it's just that after two babies, your body is a FAR CRY from what it was before.
If you don't have a baby (or if you don't have a C-section for that matter) you have no idea what I mean when I say I have "muffin top" on my belly. Yes, fellow C-section moms, you know EXACTLY what I'm talking about! At the exact scar line of my c-section starts this annoying roll of fat. I'm beginning to think it will never go away without seeing a plastic surgeon!
Moms, you are not alone on the weight loss journey. It is a long one and a frustrating one. In the meantime, I'm going to try this run/P90X workout plan and see if it starts taking numbers off the scale.
